Skippy
He taught himself to walk on his back legs.
Skippy was a puppy when a car crushed both of his front legs. Most dogs in his condition do not survive the next few hours.
He was rescued early, and that mattered. He had immediate medical care, a place to recover, and the patient work of staff who helped him learn how to move in his new body. Over months, he taught himself to balance and walk on his back legs alone. He climbs stairs. He hops in and out of his sleeping crate. He plays with the other dogs.
The early call, the early surgery, and the months of rehabilitation are what made this possible. There are many puppies in his situation in Bhutan who do not get any of those things.
Early rescue, surgery, and rehabilitation are the difference between a life like Skippy’s and a death on the road. Your donations are what fund the response.
